Kriti Taukoordass Managing Partner - Mauritius
Kriti Taukoordass is the Managing Partner of the Mauritius office. He trained and qualified within the financial services line of a Big 4 firm in London before returning to Mauritius to continue his professional career. At Forvis Mazars, he is now in charge of the audit of banking and financial services firms and also oversees the financial advisory service line.
Before joining Forvis Mazars, Kriti has been working in senior roles in public practice, Government, industry and in private equity. He has a wide experience in various sectors of the economy as an auditor and also as financial and economic adviser. As adviser to the Ministry of Finance he has led several initiatives with the objective to deepen the capital markets and to encourage PPP projects.
Kriti is a corporate finance specialist and has during his career led the Corporate finance department of a Big 4 in Mauritius. He has been involved in several M&A transactions, valuation assignments and project finance across various industries from energy to real estate. Kriti also has conducted several finance advisory assignments in Africa advising large international organisations on economic viability of airport, cotton manufacturing, privatisation projects and capital raising.
Kriti returned to public practice after spending 3 years as Group CEO of a listed entity in Mauritius and 2 years as a private equity fund manager. As CEO, Kriti successfully turnaround a Group engaged in food manufacturing and distribution by executing several strategic initiatives in Mauritius and in Africa.
Kriti holds a first-class degree in Mathematical Economics and is a Fellow of the Institute of Chartered Accountants in England and Wales ( ICAEW). He holds a practising certificate from the ICAEW and is a licensed auditor from the FRC.
