Peter Chinedu Nwofia, Tax Partner at Mazars in Nigeria, is a forward-thinking leader in the tax and regulatory service industry. Peter has over ten years of expertise and a reputation for fostering company innovation and success.
Peter handles tax reviews and computations, tax compliance management, and complex tax matters for local and international clients, and is involved in major aspects of taxation practice ranging from domestic taxes to international tax advisory, due diligence on M&A, transfer pricing planning and implementation, and tax management. He also collaborates with accountants to ensure that taxes and tax-related accounts are appropriately recorded in financial statements for both small, middle-market and large businesses.
He has a degree in Accounting from the University of Nigeria, Nsukka. He also belongs to the Chartered Institute of Taxation of Nigeria (CITN), the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Nigeria (ICAN) and the Association of Certified Fraud Examiners (ACFE) Texas USA.
In addition to his role at Mazars in Nigeria, Peter is a sought-after speaker and has sat on numerous panels and conferences delivering insightful speeches.
