Ziad boasts over 40 years of service in the Civil Engineering and Construction industry, exhibiting a diverse skill set in key managerial roles across multifaceted mega projects. His extensive experience encompasses the development and implementation of cutting-edge project management tools to ensure timely project delivery. Proficient in Project Controls, Contract Administration, International Arbitration, Building Information Modelling (BIM) and System Dynamics modelling, Ziad has consistently demonstrated advanced skills in navigating the intricacies of the industry.
Throughout his career at Consolidated Contractors International Company (CCIC), Ziad has played pivotal roles in notable projects, lastly serving as the JV Board Member representing CCIC on the Abu Dhabi International Airport – Midfield Terminal Building Project, a monumental $3 billion venture. His expertise extends to the Golden Pyramids Plaza project in Cairo, Egypt, where he served as an Arbitration Project Director, leading a team through a complex arbitration process. Ziad also contributed significantly to the oil and gas sector, with key positions in projects such as the ADNOC Onshore Gas Development (OGD II) in Habshan, UAE, and the Ruwais Refinery Expansion Project in Ruwais, UAE.
His extensive career saw him progress through various roles, showcasing his proficiency in diverse areas such as project controls, technical management, and project direction. Ziad's commitment to excellence is evident in his roles as Project Director for the Chancellery, Consulate, and Staff Residence for the Saudi Embassy in Cairo and as the Manager of Controls & Information Technology for CCIC's Gulf Region.
Ziad’s academic background includes a Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering from the University of Southwestern Louisiana, Lafayette, USA. Ziad is a member of the Jordan Engineers Association since 1978. His comprehensive experience and leadership make him a valuable asset in navigating the complexities of large-scale construction and engineering projects.
