Yara Al-Kotob Business Development Manager

Yara  started her career with Mazars in Jordan in 2021 as a Business Development Manager, engaging in many audit, financial advisory and forensic accounting projects. In business development, her role is strategically oriented. She sees the bigger picture, sets aims and objectives to develop and improve the business, and carries out necessary planning to implement operational changes. In addition to her good understanding of the Mazars in Jordan's audit, assurance and financial advisory services, she plays a pivotal role in fostering a cohesive internal environment within the firm. Her responsibilities encompass ensuring widespread staff engagement and cultivating a culture receptive to change while spearheading staff training initiatives to equip team members with the requisite skills and knowledge for evolving demands.

Yara holds an undergraduate degree in Accounting from Princess Sumaya University for Technology in Jordan and a Master of Science in Accounting and Finance from the University of Southampton in the United Kingdom. Yara also has previous experience as an academic lecturer in accounting.
