Stephen Kelly Principal | Business Advisory

Prior to joining Mazars Limited, Bermuda, Stephen was the CRO for Clarien Bank and before that Head of Advisory for a leading Advisory, Audit and Tax firm on island. He has served as Interim Head of Risk for Munich Re at Lloyd’s. As CRO at Clarien Stephen was a member of the Executive Leadership Team, Chair of the Operational Risk Committee, Chair of Credit Committee and Chair of the Compliance Committee. He was responsible for, among other things, ERM, Operational Risk, Credit Risk, Regulatory Compliance and AML/ATF.
In his prior role as Head of Advisory, beyond Governance and Risk Management, Internal Audit, and Regulatory Advice, Stephen has provided consulting advice to assist clients with transformation programs, strategy development, Target Operating Models and change programs. He has extensive risk management experience specifically in designing, implementing and operationalizing ERM Frameworks. Stephen is Chartered Fellow of the Institute of Risk Management (CFIRM) and holds a Diploma from the Chartered Insurance Institute (Dip CII).
